How to Build a Contender in DYNAMITE ’N’ THUNDER
Pick a fighting style, then build on it with the weapons, boons, and abilities you find room by room.

Start with the way you want to fight
The Warrior, Commando, and Arcanist each enter the arena with a different combat style. The Warrior brings sword-and-shield pressure, the Commando brings guns and explosives, and the Arcanist controls space with magic.
The Warrior is free through the first boss, and you can begin in your browser without an account. Sign in when you want to save progress to your account and use account features such as scores and purchases.
Let the run shape your build
As you gain levels during a run, you choose a boon from a short list. Weapons and gear you find can change your range, damage, and approach to a crowded room. A new drop can turn a safe, steady run into a more aggressive one—or give you a way out when enemies close in.
Try to make choices that work together. A piercing shot is valuable when enemies line up; an explosive attack can punish a cluster; a movement skill can create room when a boss pushes you toward a wall.
Use the room as part of your kit
The arena is not just a backdrop. Barrels and TNT can chain together, breakable objects can release loot, and some blasts can open holes through interior walls. Watch where an explosion will go and give yourself space before setting it off.
Keep a route to move through the room. It is easier to dodge a charge or a wave when you have not boxed yourself into a corner.
Play on the controls that fit your setup
The browser game supports keyboard and mouse, connected controllers, and touch controls on mobile. Start with movement, aim, your basic attack, and dodge; add the other abilities once those actions feel natural.
A good contender is not one fixed build. It is the set of choices you make with the weapons, boons, and room hazards that show up in that run.
