The Gauntlet world map shown inside a retro television, with regions and the route marked in pixel art

A map built like a Saturday-morning broadcast

The Gauntlet map is shown on a giant retro television, framed like a picture from the game's old-school arcade world. The artwork marks the journey from START through Bone Yard, Frostfall, Glutton's Den, Pit Lord territory, and the Snake Pit, where Dreadcoil waits.

A glowing trail, dotted side routes, checkpoints, boss markers, and a player marker make the illustrated map readable before you even open the progress details.

The map is the overview; your campaign is the live record

The game keeps campaign progress with your hero. In the map screen, the panel below the art shows your current zone, level, room, next boss, and which bosses are cleared or still locked. That is the place to check the state of your run and what opens next.

The campaign unfolds through the Arena, Frozen Crypts, Rotlands, Serpent Pit, Iron Frontier, and the Devil’s Descent. New campaign zones open as the hero reaches their level requirement, and a defeated campaign boss stays defeated for that hero.

Why the route matters

A useful campaign map does more than decorate a pause menu. It gives each room a place in the larger journey, shows how far you have come, and gives you a clear next milestone to aim for.

Open the map from Pause during a run. When you return to the fight, you still have your current room and boss objective in view.
